Mingle with our featured Vintners at our welcome reception followed by a four course dinner and wine tasting. Discuss the art of growing grapes to produce sensational wines which highlight the passion for what they manifest from Monterey, California all the way to Champagne, France. Special Wine Grower guests are Steve McIntyre (McIntyre Vineyards/Monterey, California); Matt Shea (Bernardus Winery/Carmel Valley, California); Peter Caragasacchi (Caragasacchi Vineyard/Santa Rita Hills, California) and Xavier Gonet (Gonet-Medeville/Champagne, France).  $100 per person.

Saturday, November 9th, 2013 – Night of Somms Dinner 7:00pm ***SOLD OUT***

Big Sur Food and Wine Festival’s own Matt Peterson (Sommelier at Sierra Mar/Post Ranch Inn) will be featuring a Night of Somms. The gifted Sommeliers include Ted Glannon (Restaurant 1833/Monterey, Ca); Thomas Perez (Kristi Lynn Wines/Central Coast, Ca) and Jeff Bareilles (Manresa/Los Gatos, Ca). Our guest Somms will be on hand to stimulate and educate even the most experienced wine connoisseurs about the hidden gems among wines. Over dinner they will inspire a lively conversation about new wine regions, decanting, “tricks of the trade” and entice you into a blind tasting.
